Emerge Recovery & Trade Initiative

Mission: To provide an ecosystem for public and private collaboration, by harnessing shared resources to create a flourishing community of opportunity. Experts in the areas of emancipation, recovery, and workforce development, will provide training and life skills education while working to eliminate substance abuse and joblessness.

While residing at Emerge, our clients will have access to individual and group counseling services, trade schools, career internships, and apprenticeship opportunities, life skill mentorship, and GED classes, all within a positive culture of building relationships with mentors and life coaches.

Young Life

Young Life is a world-class organization for adolescents. Their staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them: fun, adventure, friendship and a sense of significance.

In doing so, they earn the privilege of talking to them about the good news of Jesus and His love for them. Kids' lives are dramatically impacted when caring adults come alongside them, and they begin to see that their lives have great worth, meaning and purpose.

Habitat For Humanity

Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 as a grassroots effort on a community farm in southern Georgia. The Christian housing organization has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit, working in nearly 1,400 communities throughout the U.S. and in more than 70 countries.

Families and individuals in need partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.

Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower!

Lifeline Christian Ministry

Lifeline began serving Christ in 1980 with the vision to spiritually and physically minister to the poorest in Haiti with Lifeline's first Christian Church and Christian school to evangelize and educate. Today, Lifeline ministers to thousands in Haiti, Honduras, El Salvador, Cuba and Canada, and provides volunteer opportunities in the USA.

Spiritually, Lifeline ministers through Christian churches & house churches, Christian schools, planting churches, leadership development, and personal evangelism. Lifeline impacts physical needs through Christian schools, children's homes, emergency relief, food and clothing pantries, healthcare, house construction, nutrition programs, and vocational training.

You can be engaged in Lifeline's ministries through opportunities that include Sponsoring a child, mission trips, meals for Haiti food packaging events, peanut butter drives and donations, and volunteer opportunities at Lifeline's office and warehouse.

Focus On The Family

Mission: To cooperate with the Holy Spirit in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible by nurturing and defending the God-ordained institution of the family and promoting biblical truths worldwide.

Ultimately, we believe that the purpose of life is to know and glorify God through an authentic relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. This purpose is lived out first within our own families then extended, in love, to an increasingly broken world that desperately needs Him.Through our radio broadcasts, websites, simulcasts, conferences, interactive forums, magazines, books, counseling and much more, Focus on the Family equips parents, children and spouses to thrive in an ever-changing, ever-more-complicated world.

Since Focus on the Family’s primary reason for existence is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through a practical outreach to homes, we have firm beliefs about both the Christian faith and the importance of the family. This ministry is therefore based upon six guiding philosophies that are apparent at every level throughout the organization. These “pillars” are drawn from the wisdom of the Bible and the Judeo-Christian ethic, rather than from the humanistic notions of today’s theorists. 1)The Preeminence of Evangelism, 2) The Permanence of Marriage, 3) The Value of Children, 4) The Sanctity of Human Life, 5) The Importance of Social Responsibility, and 6) The Value of Male and Female. In short, Focus on the Family is a reflection of what we believe to be the recommendations of the Creator Himself, who ordained the family and gave it His blessing.

Samaritan's Purse

Mission: Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37) gives a clear picture of God’s desire for us to help those in desperate need wherever we find them. After describing how the Samaritan rescued a hurting man whom others had passed by, Jesus told His hearers, “Go and do likewise.” For over 40 years, Samaritan’s Purse has done our utmost to follow Christ’s command by going to the aid of the world’s poor, sick, and suffering. We are an effective means of reaching hurting people in countries around the world with food, medicine, and other assistance in the Name of Jesus Christ. This, in turn, earns us a hearing for the Gospel, the Good News of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

After sharing the story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus said “Go and do likewise.” That is the mission of Samaritan's Purse—to follow the example of Christ by helping those in need and proclaiming the hope of the Gospel.

Center Of Hope

Mission: Victory Ministries is a group of caring people committed to following the example of Christ in love and concern for our neighbors in need. Our purpose is to help those who struggle with the basic and essential necessities of life and to help find solutions.

We are working hard to reduce poverty by first addressing the immediate needs of the person with food, clothing and health care. Our secondary focus is to offer services to help a person move from instability to stability in the areas of employment, life skills, and job training. Many people respond positively to the offer to go deeper and learn what opportunities they can avail themselves to at the Center of Hope in order to make a positive change in their situations.

It is our goal to address the needs of the whole person; be it on a spiritual, mental, or physical level. We believe genuine solutions exist and we are determined to help our neighbors find them. Poverty is a complex problem with no easy solutions. When we meet individuals who are desirous and willing to work at finding solutions, you can be assured we are right by their side assisting in whatever way we can to help them achieve their goals.
